Mason "Quincy" Avina

He started cutting hair on the Fitzgerald, the boat was stationed on in Yokosuka, Japan. While he was on deployment, Mason went nuts on amazon and bought a bunch of equipment. "I wanted to start cutting hair because I wanted to see if I could do a better job than the barbers onboard. I was horrible. The worst haircuts ever. The first one I ever cut was so bad, that I promised him that the photo I took would be painted on my barber shop someday." He started watching YouTube videos and following barbers on social media. "The more hair I cut, the less shitty I got, although it was still pretty shitty. But I just loved doing it." Now that he's out of the military and able to pursue my passion, he plans to surround himself great barbers and stylists while on my path to becoming a barber.
