Sculpting Clay

This product is lightweight and malleable, designed for a messy/textured look and typically applied to thinner hair. Initial application is smooth and effortless yet still provides enough strength and control to remain styled throughout the day. This product encourages creativity and can also be used as a pre-styler. Washes out in one rinse.

WHAT IS HAIR CLAY?

Hair clay, or clay pomade, is a type of grooming product designed to provide your hair with volume and texture without adding shine. This results in a gritty, natural-looking style that compliments and controls your hair’s natural characteristics. Though clays can vary in a range of holds, ours is a pliable medium hold.

Evokes a cool and refreshing experience with gentle hints of Aloe. The scent is subtle, allowing the essence of the natural ingredients to shine through.

Mason’s Sculpting Clay can be used on either towel-dried or dry hair. We recommend following the steps for either method below.

Towel-Dried Hair: Start with a dime-sized amount of Sculpting Clay. Thoroughly warm with your hands until the product is soft and evenly spread across your palms. Apply the product down to your roots and use a blow dryer to build initial volume and texture.

Dry Hair: Start with a dime-sized amount and work your way from the back of your head to the front. This will avoid overloading the front of your hair and allow you to gain more volume and control evenly spread throughout. Style as desired and add more product if necessary.

No matter the method used, the result you’ll achieve with the Sculpting Clay is a pliable medium hold with loads of texture, volume, and a grit. While this product will work with all hair types, we’ve found it works especially well for those with fine and medium hair types.
